(Nominee #1) Booker T. Washington All School Reunion Fund
The school reunion committee over the years have done an outstanding job with organizing the reunion, the funds can be used in several different areas to be identified by the committee. The organization has always provided a meaningful gathering for families and friends to reunite and recall the past. They always provide lots of activities, food and fun memories to be passed on throughout generations to come. I feel this "Benevolent Christmas Giveaway" could benefit the BTW All School Reunion Fund by providing support for future reunions.

(Nominee #2) Brenda H.
I think this person deserves to be nominated because she is a strong person who is always giving back to the community. She is going through her second round of cancer, have not been able to return to her job, is single, with no children of her own. She does have siblings, one who has suffered strokes and one who recently had heart surgery. She has a teenage great-niece living with her, whose mother died (also of cancer),when this child was an infant. She calls often to check on others. I don't know if she is in NEED, because she is not one to say so, but she says she will continue to do do what God has called her to. I simply think she is deserving.

(Nominee #3) Keenan P.
This young man that we are nominating is a neighbor of ours. We have known Keenan since he was about 7 yrs old and he has been a friend the whole time. Keenan has been thru some rough times, parents were together when we meet but shortly thereafter they divorced and he was raised by his dad. Roughly two yrs ago his dad passed away and he was left all alone. This pass Saturday after ten years of persevering, having to take of himself to survive he was able to graduate from college and to our surprise he ask us to come and support him because he has no family here in Plainview. He is a wonderful young man and we nominate him because this time of year it's all about Love and that he is not alone and what he sees from us is an extension of the entire Fennell Family as a whole.

(Nominee #4) Belinda S.
Belinda, a single mother of one, has had several challenges over the last few years. It began when the company that she worked for reduced its workforce which resulted in her being without a job for a long period which financially caused a ripple effect. Belinda continued to raise her son but most recently has been crippled with health issues. She has recently been in and out of the hospital and care facilities. During one of her last extended stays in a care facility everything in her residence was destroyed. With no health insurance, her time in the care facility was limited and she exhausted her time. She was able to return home but is absent most of the basic essentials. She is confined to a hospital bed and requires daily assistance. The money/assistance she receives monthly barely covers the food, shelter and utilities. Belinda maintains a positive outlook and is thankful each day to just be alive. I feel the benefit of this gift would allow her to purchase some of the personal items needed to assist her with regaining mobility and Christmas for her and her son.

(Nominee #5) Iesha S.
I have known Iesha for about 15 years meeting her at church when we were both young married women. She is such a kind, gentle, thoughtful and impactful person. She's a dancer, singer, a hairdresser and a wonderful Mom to her 4 kids (2 boys and 2 girls). In January 2022, her husband was killed in a car crash. He was the main bread winner and unfortunately did not have insurance. She and the kids are making ends meet with the help of family and friends. I would love to bless her with even more help.
